"Rhinestone Star Altar Lamp From The 19th Century "
A gilded brass star set with clear rhinestones, originally designed to be placed behind a candle, was originally intended for church altar lights. While churches used various methods to secure the star depending on its placement, it's unlikely you have such candle holders at home. However, it can be placed in a standard candle holder thanks to its stem on the back of the star (see photo).
