Parisian confectioner for almost two centuries (in 2027) whose fruit pearl candies were his reputation, Boissier also had the idea of offering very pretty, very neat boxes to offer to present his various creations. Thus one could find offered as containers high-end models made exclusively by tablet makers like "Tahan", models that could very easily be used as jewelry boxes later. All this to tell you that there was a large choice of boxes ranging from the most luxurious to the most common like this model in lithographed sheet metal from the beginning of the 19th century and which does not lack charm for all that. Note that the welds in the corners of the lid have some weaknesses without this being a problem.
