Box containing a pair of box-type percussion pistols with forced bullets, circa 1840, Louis Philippe period. All metal parts with dark patina. Made in Liège, the frames are stamped "ELG". 11mm caliber, detachable, round Damascus barrel with simulated rifling at the muzzle. Chiseled retractable trigger, serial number 121 identical on both guns, located in front of the trigger at barrel height. Ebony teardrop-shaped stock, encircled with an ivory base and a chiseled steel butt cap. Mechanism in perfect working order with two crisp cocking positions and no play on both guns. Clean bores. Length 15 cm. Barrel length 5 cm. In a case containing a powder flask and a bullet mold. Two compartments closing at opposite angles. Green felt lining and gilt inscription: L.PERRIN BLE PARIS.
