A rectangular 17th-century wooden box covered in leather, richly decorated with metal studs forming geometric and floral motifs. The lid features a particularly elaborate ornamental composition, including the initials LDB, inlaid with small decorative studs. An antique metal handle is attached to the center of the lid. The front is fitted with a wrought-iron lock, typical of the period, and a vertical hasp. The sides and rim of the box show a deep patina and cracks in the leather, attesting to its age and use.
