This wonderful porcelain cup and saucer from the Real Fabbrica Ferdinandea features a blue rim with gold foliage. The center of the saucer and cup are decorated with mythological polychrome miniatures referencing the archaeological finds of Pompeii and Herculaneum. This piece dates back to between 1780 and 1790 and is marked with a crowned N in blue.
