Equestrian battle scene against the Ottomans; probably in the Balkans. This painting is attributed to Jacques Courtois, known as "Le Bourguignon" (1621-1676). It passed through the Moos Gallery in Geneva and was purchased by Max Moos for his gallery in 1930. The work was certainly relined by the Moos Gallery and has been fully restored by a professional (canvas and frame).
