Ceremonial Headdress Mask
Antique headdress made of braided plant fibers and covered with ochre and black pigments. It consists of two discs joined at their tops, onto which are fixed circles representing eyes and ear motifs. A strap-shaped decoration is attached on each side at eye level. Highlands, Mendi Valley, Papua New Guinea - 20th century.
