"Charles Catteau Kéramis Art Deco Earthenware Vase "
Fine earthenware vase with enamel decoration. Belgian work from the Art Deco period, from the Kéramis workshops directed by Charles Catteau, model D 2075, created in 1936. It has a spherical shape and a rich polychrome decoration of stylized floral motifs. A rare model. In good overall condition, except for the base, which was very likely pierced to be mounted as a lamp and then repaired, thus concealing the marks and signatures. There are no cracks or other damage, only the base of the vase, which is invisible once it is placed on a surface. The price reflects this. All questions welcome.
