A pair of silvered bronze sculptures signed Emile Guillemin* depicting two men, musicians: a violinist and a flautist, dressed in Renaissance fashion, with their swords, dating from the 19th century. These sculptures are in good overall condition. Signed on the base. Note: some minor dents, some soiling, scratches, and signs of age, see photos. * Emile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin (1841-1907): (French School). Student of his father, Emile Marie Auguste, and of Salmson. Debuted at the Salon of 1870. His works include a bust of Thiers in the Musée de Toul and "Eliezer and Rebecca" in the Musée de Montréal.
