Late 19th/Early 20th Century Brunier Mechanical Crystal Clock - Functional and Serviced - BEA24BRU001. Rare clock with a beveled crystal mount, key-wound mechanism, delivered without a key. Beautiful C. Brunier movement made in Paris. Sound mechanism with no signs of dampness. Beautiful and rare crystal mount, which has had its copper points removed, giving it a more attractive appearance. The removal of the inserts has been carried out, of course, with period details. This clock works very well; it was very recently serviced by an experienced clockmaker. Flawless enamel dial, flawless domed back door glass. Louis XVI style bronze dial ornament. Late 19th or early 20th century manufacture. The crystal mount may have a few minor chips at the corners, which are of no consequence. Dimensions approximately 18 x 12 x 6 cm. The absence of a key is not a problem; the mechanism can simply be adjusted and wound using a small pair of flat pliers, available at most watchmakers.
