A devotional icon of excellent quality and in very good condition, depicting the Virgin Mary in mourning after the crucifixion of Christ. Presented in an antique gilt frame and preserved under glass. Provenance: Dr. Robert Bembridge, 1945. Dimensions: approximately 29.2 x 24.1 cm (framed).
