A rare set of two drawings from the First Empire period. They depict two couples: the women are looking outwards, one man is looking at the viewer, and the other is gazing at his wife. The hairstyles and clothing are typical of the First Empire. The pencil work is particularly precise. Graphite on 18th-century paper, with two different signatures or notes, Steck and Icard, written in both graphite and pen. These drawings are in good overall condition.
