Large and beautiful high-quality plaster cast depicting the Greek goddess Nike. She is shown tying one of her sandals after a victorious battle. The original marble bas-relief is located in Athens, Greece, in the Acropolis Museum. It was created between 410 and 400 BC to decorate the Temple of Athena. The color is a glossy cream to ivory. Two very sturdy metal brackets are attached to the back for secure hanging. Made in the 20th century. Note: This plaster cast is in very good condition. Minor imperfections.
