Rennes Wardrobe From 1768, Signed, In Cherry Wood With Double Pediment
A beautiful Rennes-style cherrywood wardrobe, finely carved, with a double-pedimented cornice dating from the 18th century. The doors are engraved with the inscription: "Made by Louis Gaultier in 1768." It features very fine ironwork. It is in good condition, with a waxed patina. There are some old traces of woodworm, but none remain. Its dimensions in cm: width 138 (160 at the cornice), depth 54, height 234.
