Chinese Porcelain Vase – Famille Rose – 19th Century
An elegant Chinese famille rose (fencai) porcelain vase, dating from the 19th century. The body is decorated with auspicious motifs: vases filled with flowers, scholars, and symbols of good fortune, painted in a delicate palette of pinks, greens, yellows, and turquoise, typical of late Qing dynasty production. The composition is dense and harmonious, with beautifully fine glazes and a rich border of geometric and ruyi motifs.
