Pewter mug with a frustoconical shape with a molded plinth base, a flat top lid with a curved thumb and a moving handle depicting a woman in shape. It is engraved in full “line” with flowers and foliage scrolls and attributes of the brewers.
Interior hunting countermark of a founder showing dog, deer and hare.
Very barely legible maker's mark: lion rampant on the right /…/ of which we only see the two hind legs
Height: 11.4 cm.
LÖBAU (?), second half of the 17th century
In good used condition with finely engraved decoration. The small terrace supporting the top of the cover was consolidated by welding and the bottom shows a peripheral deformation.
Object of a very good level of rarity.
