Plaster sculpture mounted on a rectangular base. The horse is depicted in a graceful pose, advancing with one front leg raised. Its mane is sculpted with clean lines, forming a crest, and its tail hangs naturally. Academic style, study sculpture. The piece strongly resembles an anatomical horse executed in the style of the fine arts schools. The posture is reminiscent of the horses in neoclassical statues, often inspired by the style of Guillaume Coustou, the horses of Marly, or 19th-century academic equestrian sculptures.
