"17th Century Chest Of Drawers With Back Panel"
A chest of drawers with a back panel, made of walnut and oak. Spain, Catalonia, 17th century. This piece of furniture was designed to hold liturgical vestments, necessary for the ritual of Mass, without risk of creasing or soiling them. The completely smooth top allows the fabric to be spread out to remove wrinkles. It features two large, openwork, molded drawers, beautiful ironwork, and a rare back panel with flat moldings. Note some old restorations, the right rear leg, and the missing lock. For any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. Delivery or shipping upon request.
