Beautiful Art Deco light fixture in excellent condition, manufactured by Lorrain, Verreries de Belle Étoile, a company specializing in high-quality lighting, circa 1930 (Paul Daum and Pierre d'Avesn).
Globe is solid, colorless, hand-blown glass with a frosted and burnished finish.
The fish depicted here in the seaweed forest are typical of d'Avesn (see last photo).
The openwork wrought iron frame includes a ceiling rose, suspension chain, and a hoop adapted to the glass shade.
