Console Table with Mirror, Art Deco, 1940s
Type: Console table with mirror
Materials: Veneered wood, dark lacquered top, mirrors with floral engravings

The console table has a solid but balanced rectangular structure, characterized by a linear central body flanked by two vertical elements reminiscent of pillars, giving it a monumental character. The darker, slightly protruding top creates a striking contrast with the light wood tones of the structure.
The mirror above, with its strong visual impact, is set in a frame that forms a lowered arch. The central mirror is flanked by vertical mirrored panels and crowned by arched mirrored elements, all decorated with simple, stylized floral motifs.
The decorative elegance of Art Deco style is recognizable in the engraved motifs of the mirrors.
