Persian Rug Isfahan Najafabad 300x200 Cm

This antique Persian rug, made around 1940 in the Isfahan region, is a fine example of the traditional craftsmanship associated with the province of Najafabad. It features a deep red field adorned with a dense network of ivory, blue, and black scrolls and floral motifs, arranged around a finely drawn central star medallion.

The whole forms a harmonious and elegant composition, characteristic of rugs from this origin. The border, structured in several registers, alternates shades of blue, ivory, and red, each decorated with stylized flowers and vegetal scrolls, adding richness and depth to the piece.
The balance between the colors and the precision of the motifs testifies to the aesthetic refinement of this type of early 20th-century production.

Size : 300 x 200 cm
Condition : Used, with small white wool spots scattered throughout the rug. Some wear is present, and the fringes show slight wear, as seen in the photos. There are some loose edges.
Despite these signs of age, the rug remains sturdy and in good overall condition, fully retaining its decorative appeal and vintage character.
