Eberhard For Cheret, Desk Lamp, 20th Century
Nickel-plated metal halogen desk lamp with a trapezoidal base and a flat stem; tilting it forward activates the light. This model was produced by the Eberhard design office for Chéret-Ateliers d'Application du Métal (Metal Application Workshops).
The Ateliers d'Application du Métal were founded in 1973 by Jean Chéret (1929-1982), alongside the Ateliers d'Arts Liturgiques Chéret (Chéret Liturgical Art Workshops), which had been established by his father, Maurice, in 1923. He collaborated with both young talents and renowned designers to create cutting-edge metal objects.
The electrical system is in working order.
