"Lorgnette With Small Gilt Decoration, 18th Century"
A spyglass constructed of white and brown horn and cardboard lined with paper, embossed with a rich decoration of small gilt tools. The spyglass is unsigned but Italian, dating from the mid-18th century. The original optics function perfectly. Good overall condition. The small spyglass is kept in its original case (small crack in the cap). The spyglass measures 3.7 cm in diameter by 6.3 cm in length when closed.
