Revolver No. 1: Caliber 380

Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, half-moon front sight mounted in a dovetail, marked on the upper right side: HILL'S PATENT No. 257, and on the upper left side: THE STANLEY, with two control stamps.
Closed frame, marked on the right side: JOINT PATENT & Co and numbered C22802 with inspection stamp; the left side is marked TRADE MARK, with the winged hourglass symbol surmounted by the initials Hill'S.
Single and double action.
Unlocking key with push button and upward tilt. The system allows collective extraction by a bracket fixed on the top with the jaws pushing the extractor. Six-chamber cylinder, stamped.
Finely checkered walnut grip panels; butt cap fitted with a ring on a stud.

Revolver No. 2: Caliber 450
Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, half-moon front sight mounted in a dovetail, marked on the upper right side: HILL'S PATENTSELF EXTRACTOR.
Closed frame; single and double action.
Unlocking key with push button and upward tilt. The system allows collective extraction by a bracket fixed on top with jaws pushing the extractor.
Six-chamber cylinder, stamped.
Finely checkered walnut grip panels; grip cap fitted with a ring on a stud.

Both revolvers are in perfect condition, with a 100% nickel-plated finish.

Walnut box, screwed, with brass badge. The interior is lined with blue felt, and the inside of the lid has retained its original label.
It contains a grease pot and a cleaning rod.
Lock with key.

The configuration of this case certainly makes it a unique piece.

This collective extraction system was patented by Stanley Hill in the early 1870s.
