Small miniature globe or world map, signed NK* Publishers in Paris, blackened wood base, early 20th century. This globe is in good overall condition. It is signed on the side. Note: minor imperfections on the globe (especially along the center line), some stains, soiling and yellowing, some signs of age, see photos. * NK ATLAS Paris refers to the toy and game manufacturer located on rue de l'Atlas in Paris, founded by Léon Nicolas and Charles Keller. Léon Nicolas was a representative of the Simonin-Cuny company, while Charles Keller, originally from Munich, settled in France at the end of the 19th century. The business began operations in 1904, the same year that saw the creation of RT (Revenaz et Tabernat) and JJF (French Games and Toys), JJF resulting from a merger of companies (MD, SC...). From 1904 to 1924, the year management was transferred to Georges Bonnet (GB), the NK company produced a wide variety of games, including game boxes filled with puzzles and small skill games.
