The reliquary dates from between 1905 (beatification of the Curé of Ars) and 1925 (his canonization by Pius XI), as the handwritten inscription mentions Blessed (BJM Vianney).
Fragment of fabric sewn onto red velvet, sealed on the back, side cords present. Attractive handwritten inscription in pen. Original protective glass. Authentic, high-quality, and carefully crafted. The absence of the wax seal on the back (only the cords remain) is likely due to the popular devotion to the Curé of Ars. Reliquary intended for the Propagation of the Faith.
Dimensions: 4 x 3 cm (excluding loop).
Slight traces of superficial oxidation of the metal, a common occurrence in wearable reliquaries.
