Ebony Cabinet 17th Century
A charming small cabinet in ebony, ebony veneer, and blackened wood with carved stylized motifs, and its display table resting on four twisted legs joined by a stretcher. The cabinet opens with drawers in the front and a central door revealing a marquetry display area adorned with mirrors. This cabinet also features a unique characteristic: two carved pilasters framing the sliding door, each revealing a row of small concealed drawers. The table opens with a wide drawer in the frieze. French or Antwerp work, dating from the first half of the 17th century. In good overall condition, with minor losses and signs of wear. The lock is present but without a key. Cabinet dimensions: Height 49 cm, Length 65.5 cm, Depth 34.5 cm. Table dimensions: Height 80 cm, Length 78.5 cm, Depth 43 cm.
