Rare small oval section hot water bottle table in mahogany decorated with gilded brass rods, resting on four tapered legs joined by a spacer forming a mahogany top. The white marble top surrounded by a pierced and gilded bronze ingot mold is complete with its original stopper covered in leather on one side to form a writing table and green felt on the other to form a games table. The original leather and felt in used condition. It opens with two small side drawers and still a writing tablet on the front. The feet fitted with gilded bronze shoes and casters. Height 76cm Length 51.5 cm width 38.5cm. Work from the Louis XVI period, 18th century.
