Important patinated terracotta group composed of two bacchantus figures and a satyr dancing on a mound, with flowers and fruit at their feet. In good condition, with a lovely antique patina. Height 47 cm, Width 32 cm, Base diameter 20 cm. 19th-century work. Scenes typical of the work of Michel Claude, known as Clodion (1738-1814), an eminent French sculptor who initiated Neoclassicism in sculpture.
