Set Of 3 Arlesian Keyboards, One Of Which Has Scissors

Artist: Arlésienne
A set of three solid silver keychains, one of which is a scissor lock with a double chain. They are hallmarked on the reverse with the head of Minerva and monograms. The head of the keychain is decorated with flowers and motifs reminiscent of the style of carvings on wedding armoires from the Arles region. These objects were part of the traditional Arles costume in the mid-19th century. The keychain could also be used to hang keys, charms, or a watch.
