"Snuff Box Made Of Corrozo Wood Carved With An Ancient Scene "
small snuff box from the Charles Dix period, oblong in shape opening on the top, in Corrozo wood, it is decorated with a sculpture representing an antique scene, Psyche looking at the sleeping cupid. The dried fruits of the Phytelephas Macrocarpa palm tree give a very hard wood. It comes from the Amazonian forests and was discovered in 1798.
