Louis Eliet is known in Saint-Malo, particularly for his watercolors. He died in Saint-Malo in the late 1980s, and no biography of him yet exists. However, he ended his career as a school principal in the Rocabey district of Saint-Malo. He painted primarily in Saint-Malo but also throughout Brittany. This watercolor is framed and in very good condition.
