An impressive Dresden Baroque secretary desk, comprising a slightly curved, two-drawer commode. Above, a tall, sloping drop-front reveals a refined interior with six small drawers and a central curved shelf. The upper section features a two-door cabinet surmounted by a molded, arched pediment. Inside, the architecture is punctuated by pilasters, additional drawers, and a central niche. This piece is veneered in finely grained walnut, hand-polished, and adorned with fire-gilt bronze mounts—a remarkable example of Dresden court craftsmanship in the mid-18th century.
