"Christofle: Silver-plated Guilloché Table Or Reception Bell"
A silver-plated metal bell in the shape of a diabolo, topped with a chime. The guilloché body is decorated with fine undulations and dots; the base is gadrooned.
The very simple mechanism is activated by turning the knob above the chime, which then emits a lovely, clear sound.
In good condition, with beautiful silver plating and minimal, barely visible oxidation around the hallmarks on the base.
Various hallmarks and numbers, including the Christofle mark.
