Gilt Bronze Portico Clock – Restoration Period (1815–1830) An elegant gilt bronze portico clock from the Restoration period. The architectural design features four smooth columns surmounted by finely chased capitals, displaying a refined decoration of garlands, foliage friezes, and laurel wreaths. The finely guilloché bronze dial with Roman numerals is encircled by a chased frieze. It has a visible pendulum with a lens, its original Paris movement, and a striking bell. Complete with its key. The chasing and gilding are of very high quality, uniform and luminous. The mechanism is in original working order.
