This small medallion frame is carved from a single piece of gilded wood and is ready to hang. In the pure Louis XVI style, it dates from the late 19th century. Delicately carved, the decorative details are very well executed, such as the hanging ribbon ending in a Louis XVI bow, and the beaded border of the medallion, which adds a beautiful stylistic touch.
