Object description :

"1930s Stockman Paris Shop Shoulder Mannequin "
The shoulder mannequin allowed to present in a somewhat original way the know-how of the master tailor and to highlight the work of a jacket shoulder while the other part fell nonchalantly. It is made of natural beech with square shapes in the Art Deco style of its time. The shell for the shoulder is made of papier-mâché covered with a beige canvas showing some traces of humidity, it is stamped with the Stockman brand and the earpiece of the screws is marked in relief with a "Paris". Often placed on a counter to properly present and enhance the item, it is adjustable in height and inclination.
