This landscape or horizontal format is very rare for antique photo frames. This one dates from the 19th century and is quite large. Its molded gilt-bronze frame features a motif of ribbons and entwined branches, surmounted by a classical wreath of laurels intertwined with a Louis XVI ribbon bow. It has a cardboard backing and its protective glass.
