Présent From Queen Elizabeth Ii, Sterling Silver Serving Tray, William Comyns & Sons
Artist: William Comyns And Sons
A very heavy (2800 grams) sterling silver serving tray bearing the coat of arms of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The hallmarks for 925% sterling silver from the City of London, dated 1962, are clearly legible on the back of the tray. According to family tradition, the tray was given by the Queen in recognition of services rendered to her grandfather, a chef who earned three Michelin stars. The tea and coffee service shown in some of the photos is not included in the price but is available for purchase separately. The tray is in excellent condition and weighs 2800 grams.
