Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg (1833-1904) was a well-known and respected French painter, specializing in landscapes, in the style of the Barbizon School. His preferred subjects were the ports of Brittany and Normandy, as well as the North Sea and Alpine villages. In 1855, Kuwasseg exhibited regularly at the Salon, where he received numerous awards. He later became an art teacher. He mastered the art of contrast and demonstrated great finesse in his execution. Some of Charles Kuwasseg's works (oils on canvas or panel) can be seen at the fine arts museums of Rouen and Rennes, as well as at the Maltwood Art Museum of the University of Victoria (Canada). * Worldwide shipping * * Payment by bank transfer * * Payment by bank transfer, check, PayPal, or credit card * Bank details (RIB) Tel: France: 0681013179 Tel: International: 0033681013179
