Spanish Flintlock Pistol, Signed Bustindui - Gabiola (circa 1790-1810).
A high-quality example in very good condition. The barrel, decorated with gold, retains much of its original burnishing; its bore is also immaculate, still burnished, and appears never to have been fired. The lockplate is finely engraved and signed Gabiola. The barrel bears the mark of the prestigious Basque gunsmith dynasty, Bustindui. Iron furniture, also finely chased. Overall length: 36 cm.
