Round barrel, rifled bore, marked on top: Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co, Hartford, Ct, U.S.A. Patented Aug. 5. 1884 Nov. 6.88 Mar 5.95. and on the left side COLT. D.A.38. Half-moon handlebars.
Tilting cylinder with collective extractor, with six chambers, marked R.A.C.
Single and double action.
Closed frame, marked R.A.C. and L.E.B. On the stock frame, the markings are as follows: U.S. ARMY 1896 N°150984
Stock in antler.
All parts numbered K984

Original 60% blue finish. Barrel and cylinder chambers mirrored. Excellent mechanical performance.
