Closed length: 7 inches; Open length: 12.5 inches; Blade length: 5.9 inches
Silver blade, single-edged, with a locking mechanism, signed LALEMENT on one side with hallmark.
Steel plates, decorated with two mother-of-pearl ribs adorned with gold medallions, one depicting two figures in a city, including a master polisher, and the other depicting symbols of music and love encircling a medallion with initials.
The bolsters, the back of the spring, and the sides of the plates are gold.
Note the large size of this knife, rare for the period.
Very good condition overall; hairline scratches on each of the plates and micro-dents at the tip of the blade.
