"Pilgrims' Mass In Santiago De Compostela"
Watercolor on paper, circa 1900, depicting the Pilgrims' Mass in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, notably featuring the Botafumeiro, considered one of the largest censers in the world. A beautiful, mystical ambiance lends the painting a unique atmosphere. The painting is unsigned; however, a similar image exists as an engraving by the painter Daniel Urrabieta. This work could be attributed to him, as the style and period are similar. Framed under glass. Visible dimensions: 38.5 x 29.5 cm
