Pair Of Large Covered Porcelain Vases From Imari, 19th Century.
Pair of large covered Japanese Imari porcelain vases. A very beautiful model with floral decoration in red and blue on a white background, subtly enhanced with gilding, a characteristic feature of Japanese ceramic production known as Imari, originating from the porcelain kilns of Arita on the island of Kyushu. Our vases are distinguished by their substantial size, making them particularly decorative. The set is in very good condition. A fine piece of Japanese work, made for export to Europe in the last third of the 19th century. Note: Shipping to France is possible via Colissimo tracked service: 50 euros. Other destinations upon request.
