Lucien Van de Velde, 1910-1997, Belgian painter of portraits, interiors, and still lifes. He studied at the Academy of Saint Nicholas, his hometown, until 1930 and at NHISKA from 1931 to 1937. First Prize Winner of the Jubelprijs in 1938. He painted portraits of several ministers, mayors, and clergymen. His work is listed in the Arto and Piron dictionaries of Belgian painters. Listed on Artprice, Artnet, etc...
