Richard-Ginori, renamed Ginori 1735 from 2020, is a company created on October 11, 1896 from the merger of the Richard Ceramic company, of Lombard origin, with the Manifattura di Doccia of the Marquis Carlo Ginori, founded in 1737 in the municipality of Doccia.
Giovanni Ponti, known as Gio (Milan, 1891 – Milan, 1979), is considered one of the masters of Italian architecture; he was also one of the most important designers and essayists of the 20th century.
