Small 18th-century Sloping Desk
We present this charming small 18th-century Louis XV slant-front desk, veneered in wood and adorned with a marquetry bouquet of flowers on the fall front. It features two drawers in the front, crafted from various woods with marquetry stringing, including rosewood and mahogany. The fall front is lined with green leather and features a gilt vignette; a hidden compartment is concealed by a pull-out slide. Inside, there are four drawers. The desk is veneered on fir. It is in excellent condition.
