Model 40 helmet, shell and liner bearing the name "ROTH," also marked with the liner size "58," color "slate gray." Liner lined with a German naval journal dated 1944. Insignia faded (barely visible gilt eagle's head, possibly Kriegsmarine). Helmet marked "ET66," shell number illegible as the name is painted over. Leather chinstrap. Very good condition.
