Jadeite And 18-karat Gold Cufflinks From The Art Deco Period
This lovely pair of cufflinks features apple-green jadeite cabochons set in yellow gold, with alternating stepped shoulders: polished and finely textured gold.
They fasten with a chain and bar clasp.
The cabochons have a convex back, a sign of age, as modern cabochons are flat.
What may appear as fissures are the internal texture of the stone. Hallmarked PV and 18K (the 8 is indistinct).
Tested to 18 karat with a touchstone.
PERFECT CONDITION! Art Deco style, circa 1930. They would make two beautiful rings or earrings...
Dimensions: 2.1cm x 1.9cm.
Weight: 12g
